Dave Stanley opened this shop in Aurora in 1969 with a simple idea: build cabinets that last, and treat every customer like a neighbor — because most of them were. For over five decades, that's exactly what this shop has done, one kitchen, one built-in, and one custom piece at a time.
The brochure pictured here is from the early 2000s, advertising cabinets 'for discriminating tastes.' More than fifty years later, styles may have changed, but the quality of our work remains the defining factor.
In 2024, Luther and Stacey Piper took over the business. They didn't come in to reinvent it — they came in because they believed in what Dave built. Luther brings more than 25 years of experience in construction and fine woodworking, and together the Pipers have kept the same standard of handcrafted quality that's always defined this shop, while bringing fresh energy to how we serve customers across the Four States Region.
What Hasn't Changed
We still use quality hardwoods. We still finish every piece for durability, not just looks. We still measure twice and build once. And we still believe the best cabinets come from actually listening to the person who's going to use them every day.
Our Values
Craftsmanship
Every piece is built by hand in our Aurora shop, not assembled from a kit.
Honesty
Straight answers on materials, timeline, and cost, before we start.
Community
We live here too. Our reputation is built on the neighbors we've served for over half a century.
